Rosemary A. "Rosie" Ernzen, 61, of 509 W. Main Street, Epworth, Iowa, died Monday, March 25, 2013 at Heritage Manor in Dubuque, Iowa.

Friends and relatives of Rosemary may call from 2 to 8 p.m., Monday, April 1, 2013 at the Reiff Funeral Home in Farley, Iowa, where a wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m.

Services for Rosemary will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Epworth, Iowa, with Rev. Michael Schueller Presiding. Burial will be held in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Epworth, Iowa.

Rosemary was born July 5, 1951 in Dubuque, Iowa, daughter of Francis and Modesta (Freiburger) Koerperich. She graduated from the former St. Joseph's High School in Farley, Iowa. On May 25, 1974 she was united in marriage to Paul Ernzen at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Farley, Iowa. She is a member of St. Patrick's Parish in Epworth, Iowa.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Ernzen of Epworth, I A; two children, Marty (Wendi) Ernzen of Farley, I A, and Connie (Erik "Zeb") Sorum of El Dorado, Kansas; six grandchildren; Josh, Charlie and Joey Ernzen, Sarah, Gael and Sydney Sorum; her mother, Modesta Koerperich of Farley, IA and a brother, Eldon (Sue) Koerperich of Farley, I A; sisters-in-law, Ellen Koerperich of Placid, IA, Mary Ahniann of Dubuque, I A, and Jeanne Ernzen of Farley, I A; brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Dianne Ernzen of Dyersville, I A. She is preceded in death by her father and one brother, Ronald Koerperich; a niece, Lora Ann Koerperich and a nephew, Brian Koerperich. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.
