Abigail was born December 26, 1997 in Dubuque, Iowa, daughter of Kevin "Herbie" and Anne (Krogman) Dolphin. She is a 2016 graduate of Western Dubuque High School in Epworth, Iowa. She then went on to the University of Northern Iowa where she graduated in 2019 with a degree in Finance and Real Estate. She was employed at MidWestOne Bank in Dyersville as a portfolio manager. She was united in marriage to Chance Maiers on June 18, 2022 in Dyersville, Iowa.

Abigail was a loving daughter, devoted sister, cherished wife, and most of all took great pride in the role of motherhood. Being a boy mom, to Griffin and Maddox, was her greatest joy of her life, and she embraced it with her whole heart. She was a friend to everyone she met, always coming up with clever nicknames (like her sister Brianna, being "G" and her brother Connor being "Koala"). She had an endless competitive fire from her days playing high school sports (basketball & tennis), simple board games, golf leagues and racing her husband to the Peosta turnoff when they first met.

She found happiness in the everyday moments that made life special. She woke up each morning excited for her Iced Caramel Latte and loved spending time cuddling with their dog "Rhody". Family gatherings and vacations were among her favorite times. She especially enjoyed watching Chance and Griffin play golf, proudly serving as their fan club of one. Her love for family was evident in everything she did, always present for Monday night family dinners as she created countless memories filled with laughter, togetherness and love. Abigail's final gift was being an organ donor and she will live on in many other lives.

She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Parish, the Dyersville Golf & Country Club Golf Leagues, and the Dyersville Young Professionals.

She is survived by her husband, Chance Maiers of Dyersville, IA; two sons, Griffin and Maddox Maiers both at home; her parents, Kevin "Herbie" and Anne Dolphin of Peosta, IA; and two siblings, Brianna Dolphin (Riley LeGrand) of Peosta, IA, and Connor Dolphin (Fiance, Brenna Neyen) of Epworth, IA; her father and mother-in-law, Jeff and Tricia Maiers of Dyersville, IA; her sisters-in-laws, Tori Maiers (Nick Hansen) of West Des Moines, IA, and Mia Maiers of Dyersville, IA; her maternal grandmother, Susan Krogman of Cascade, IA; and grandparents-in-law, Al and Lindee Steffen of Dyersville, IA and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, John Krogman; and her paternal grandparents, Dallas and Ruth Dolphin, and other extended family members of the Dolphin, Krogman, Maiers, and Steffen families.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at Fidelity Bank and Trust (Any branch) for Griffin and Maddox.
