Amanda Charlotte (Manders) Hasenbank, 34, of Bellevue, Iowa, left this world far too soon on September 10, 2026.
The family will greet friends and relatives from 3 to 6 p.m., on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at the Reiff Funeral Home in Cascade, Iowa, where a Prayer service will be held at 6:00 p.m.
Amanda was born June 17, 1992, in Houston, Texas, daughter of Dave and Jeanine (O’Donnell) Manders. She is a 2011 graduate of Cascade High School. A graduate of the University of Dubuque where she was on the Dean’s List, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. She was currently scheduled to graduate from Arizona State University where she was also on the Dean’s List with her Master’s Degree in Biology.
She was currently employed at Simmon’s in Dubuque as a lab tech in the quality department.
Amanda cherished being a mother to her two daughters and treasured every moment with them. She loved working along side them on their 4-H projects during the summer, going horseback riding, and cheering them on from the sidelines at their sporting events. She was especially proud to serve as their volleyball coach, carrying memories they will carry with them always. She had an avid love of coffee, especially Starbucks and could never resist a sweet treat. She had a deep love for animals, including her dogs, Sado, Georgia, Sage, Chloe, Sadie and Moose and her beloved horse JW. She spent many happy trail rides on JW with her friends.
She is survived by her two daughters, Hadley Hasenbank and Brynlee Hasenbank both of Bellevue; a special friend, Kevin Heim and his son, Jaxson of Bellevue; her father, Dave Manders (& friend, Carol) of Zwingle; her mother, Jeanine O’Donnell of San Antonia, TX; her siblings, Calista Manders of Zwingle, and John (Jacque) Manders of SanAntonio, TX; three uncles Dennis Manders of Zwingle and Donald Manders of Dubuque and James O’Donnell TX; and one aunt, Julaine Barnes of TX; special cousins, James Knepper of Cascade and Holly Manders of Dubuque; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, William and Charlotte O’Donnell and her Paternal grandparents, George and Connie Manders; two uncles, Doug Manders land John O’Donnell and an aunt, Janice O’Donnell.
