Angella T. Walsh, 82, of Peosta, Iowa, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Hawkeye Care Center in Dubuque, Iowa.
Friends and relatives of Angella may call 9 to 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the Reiff Funeral Home in Epworth, Iowa.
Services for Angela will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Reiff Funeral Home in Epworth, Iowa with Rev. Philip Mensah officiating. Burial will be held in St. Joseph's Prairie Cemetery in Zwingle, Iowa.
Angella was born August 6, 1935 in Zwingle, Iowa, daughter of William C. and Catherine F. "Rena" (Murphy) Walsh. She received her education from the rural country schools in the Peosta area. She loved working on the farm and helping with the animals.
She was a member of New Melleray Parish.
She is survived by two sisters, Mary Ellen and Anna Marie Walsh; one brother, William C. (Karen) Walsh all of Peosta, IA; nieces and nephews, Pat (Toni) Walsh of Platteville, WI, Cindy (Ryan) Yoder of Lone Tree, IA, Bill (Michele) Walsh Jr. of Cuba City, WI, Carrie (Tyler) Schmidt of Rochester, MN; three great nephews Caleb and Wyatt Yoder and Sawyer Walsh; three great Nieces Taylor and Hanna Walsh and Emma Frain.
She is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Benedict, Francis, Clement and John Walsh; two sisters, Anastasia in Infancy and Catherine Walsh.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Hawkeye Care Center and the Hospice of Dubuque for all the good care they gave to Angella.
