Anna Mae Reiff, 92, of Farley, Iowa, passed away at her home in Farley on Monday, May 28, 2018, she was reunited in heaven with her husband Robert.

Friends and relatives of Anna Mae may call from 2 to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the Reiff Funeral Home in Farley, Iowa, where a wake service will be held at 1:30 p.m., a CDA Rosary will be held at 4:30 p.m. and the Farley American Legion Auxiliary Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friends may also call after 9 a.m., Friday morning at the Funeral Home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 1, 2018 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Farley, Iowa, with Rev. Michael Schueller presiding. Concelebrating will be Rev. Douglas Loecke.  Lectors will be Michelle Feltes and Jennifer Schramm.  Mass servers will be Brianna Gartner, Mariah Schmitt and David Gartner.  Eucharistic Minister will be Nicole Gartner.  Placing of the pall will be done by Jennifer Schramm, Anna Smith, Heidi Lower, Sarah Hirsch, Bobbi Jo Duneman and Danielle Schmitt.  Giftbearers will be Stacie Simon, Jessie Hoffmann and Kristi Willenbring.  Burial will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Farley, Iowa.

Honorary pallbearers will be the caregivers of Anna Mae.

Honorary Escorts will be afforded by the Farley American Legion Auxiliary and the Catholic Daughters of the America's-Presentation Court #`1460.

Casketbearers for Anna Mae will be John Georgen, Paul Willenbring, Luke Gansen, Eric Grant, Andrew Reiff, Chris Reiff, Ryan Simon, Jacob Reiff, Matthew Hoffmann and Bill Schmitt.

She was born August 15, 1925 in Dyersville, Iowa, daughter of Dr. Bernard H. and Mary (Shulte) Luehrsmann. She is a graduate of St. Francis Xavier High School in Dyersville, Iowa and is also a graduate of the former Bayless Business College in Dubuque, Iowa.  After graduating she worked in her father and brother's medical practice.  On September 14, 1948 she was united in marriage to Robert W. Reiff at the Basilica of St. Francis Xavier in Dyersville, Iowa.  He preceded her in death on November 27, 1988.

The couple owned and operated the Reiff Funeral Homes and Ambulance Service where she played an active role behind the scenes in both businesses. She devoted most of her time to raising their ten children.  She enjoyed card games, bowling, and coffee with her friends.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, playing many games and ensuring their math skills through card games.

She is a member of St. Joseph's Parish in Farley, Iowa, the Farley American Legion Auxiliary and the Farley Catholic Daughters of the America's-Presentation Court #1460

She is survived by nine children, Nola (Charlie) Nadermann of Delhi, IA, Bede (Dan) Willenbring of Dyersville, IA, Mavonne (Tom) Gansen of Peosta, IA, Robert Jr. (Mary Ann) Reiff of Independence, IA, Joseph (Peg) Reiff of Cascade, IA, Bernie (Debra) Reiff, Julie (Pat) Simon, Mary (Mike) Hoffmann and Sharon (Loren) Schmitt all of Farley, IA; a son-in-law, Robin Ragen of Ottumwa, IA; 43 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren.

She is also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Rhonda Ragen on August 18, 2016; twin granddaughters, Jill Simon in infancy and Janelle Simon on February 26, 1993; a grandson, Chad Nadermann on September 9, 2014; a brother, Dr. Bernard C. (Blanche) Luehrsmann; four sisters, Irene Luehrsmann in infancy, Beatrice (Harold) Loes, Dorothy Luehrsmann and Stella (Schwartz) Pettinger; brother and sisters-in-laws, Julian (Luella "Babe") Reiff and Margene (Urban) Besler; and many nieces and nephews.
