Cathy A. Kronlage, 61, of Dyersville, Iowa and formerly of Epworth, Iowa, died Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center in Dyersville, Iowa after a sudden illness.
Friends and relatives may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Sunday, April 24, 2016 at the Reiff Funeral Home in Epworth, Iowa where a wake service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friends may also call after 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 25, 2016 at the Funeral Home
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Monday, April 25, 2016 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Epworth, Iowa, with Rev. Aloysius Vorwald officiating. Burial will be held in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Epworth, Iowa.
She was born November 22, 1954 in Dubuque, Iowa, daughter of Eldon R, and Lenore B. (Steffen) Denlinger. She is a 1972 graduate of Western Dubuque High School in Epworth, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Donald Kronlage on July 24, 1999 in Farley, Iowa. She was employed at Western Dubuque Elementary in Epworth as a paraprofessional. She was a member of the Flashback Car Club. She was a loving caring grandmother, and truly enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Kronlage of Dyersville, IA; three children, Todd (Holly) Dingbaum of Maquoketa, IA, Tami (Pat) Paisley of Balltown, IA, Tobey (Shannon) Dingbaum of Hartselle, AL; 5 step children, Paul (Angie) Kronlage, Russ (Jodi) Kronlage, Jennifer (Jim) McDermott all of Epworth, IA, Brian (Angie) Kronlage of New Vienna, IA, and Scott (Julie) Kronlage of Epworth, IA; 25 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; five siblings, David (Judy) Denlinger of Dubuque, IA, Duane Denlinger of Davenport, IA, Von J. (Jean) Denlinger of Cascade, IA, Vanita Bries of Epworth, IA and Pamela (Terry) Strub of Elbe, WA.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Merlin Denlinger and one granddaughter.
