George was born January 19, 1951, in Cascade, Iowa, son of Alice M. Klostermann and the late Melvin Breitbach.
George had a great love for music, playing cards and having a good "Cup of Jo" with his buddies. George had a hard road to travel in life that now leads to the heights of greatness. His strength was endured by his strong and great love for his faith which showed the way for many of how blessed we are with message "You never know what road a man travels, always be kind to each other."
Those left to cherish George's memory are his mother, Alice Klostermann of Monticello, IA; siblings, Melvin Breitbach of Monticello, IA, Judy (Galen) Harms of Anamosa, IA Mary (Lee) Hinderman of Davenport, IA, Chuck Breitbach of Dubuque, IA, Geraldine Gorman and Geralyn Puccio both of Cedar Rapids, IA. George is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. George is also survived by his Cedar Valley Ranch Family who will miss him dearly.
George was preceded in death by his father Melvin Breitbach and most recently his sister Sonya, who passed 7 months prior to his passing. They are both united together playing tricks on each other as they did in their temporary home on earth. We are fortunate to have them looking over us as we continue on our journey fulfilling our purpose in life.
In lieu of flowers, a George R. Breitbach memorial fund has been established.
The family wishes to thank the Cedar Valley Ranch Care Facility for the care that was given to George. We would also like to thank family and friends for the kind thoughts and prayers.
Goodbyes are not forever, are not the end; it simply means, "We will miss you until we meet again."
