Guy R. Woodward II, 66 of Dyersville, Iowa, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021 at Mercy One Medical Center in Dubuque, Iowa.

The family will greet friends after 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at the Basilica of St. Francis Xavier, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Dennis Quint presiding.  Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery in Dyersville.  The Reiff Funeral Home in Dyersville is in charge of arrangements.

Guy was born January 21, 1955 in Davenport, Iowa, son of Guy R. and Natalie (Garvaey) Woodward.  He received his under graduate degree at the University of Dallas in Texas and later received his Master's degree at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa.

He taught at Beckman High School in Dyersville, Iowa until his retirement, he then was employed at Dyersville Die Cast until he retired.

He is survived by one brother, Patrick (Dawn) Woodward of Bettendorf, IA; two nephews, Nathan (Alexandra) Woodward of Solon, OH and Ryan (Stephanie) Woodward of Chesterfield, MO; one great niece, Anya of Solon, OH and a special friend, Amy Baum of Iowa City, Iowa.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
