Hunter Michael Frommelt, 20, of Waterloo, Iowa and formerly of Epworth, Iowa, died Friday, April 8, 2016 at his home in Waterloo, Iowa.
Friends and relatives of Hunter may call from 3 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at the Reiff Funeral Home in Epworth, Iowa, where a wake service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friends may also call after 9 a.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
Services for Hunter will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, April 14, 2016 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Epworth, Iowa, with Rev. Michael Schueller Presiding. Assisting Deacon will be Gerald Koopmann. Lector will be Vince O'Connell. Placing of the pall will be done by Michael and Kris Frommelt and Kari Frommelt. Giftbearers will be Audrey Frommelt, Megan Frommelt, McKenna Rausch and Jaden Rausch. Burial will be held in St. Boniface Cemetery in New Vienna, Iowa.
Casketbearers for Hunter will be John Weisbeck, Salomon Marin, Greg Rausch, Bill Frommelt, Cy Frommelt and Kevin Gassman.
Hunter was born January 15, 1996 in Des Moines, Iowa, son of Michael (Kari) Frommelt. He is a 2014 graduate of Western Dubuque High School in Epworth, Iowa. He was currently attending Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo, Iowa for landscaping.
Hunter enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and four wheeling.
He is survived by his father Michael (Kris) Frommelt of Holy Cross, IA, Kari Frommelt of MI; two sisters, Megan Frommelt and Audrey Frommelt both of Holy Cross, IA; his grandparents, Rod (Jean) Said of Peosta, IA and Darlene Frommelt of New Vienna, IA.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Louis Frommelt and an aunt, Amy Rausch.
A Hunter M. Frommelt memorial fund has been established in lieu of flowers.
