John C. "Jack" Boge, 74, of rural , Farley, Iowa, died Sunday, July 10, 2016 at the Oak Crest Manor in Dyersville, Iowa.

Friends and relatives of Jack may call from 3 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at the Reiff Funeral Home in Farley, Iowa. Friends may also call after 9:00 a.m., on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at the Funeral Home.

Services for Jack will held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Farley, Iowa with Rev. Michael Schueller presiding. Burial will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Farley, Iowa.

Jack was born October 1, 1942 in Farley, Iowa, son of Joseph J. and Delores (Clemen) Boge. He received his education in the Farley Union School. John farmed North of Farley all his life.

He loved to play baseball both as a child and with his nephews and niece. He also enjoyed participating in the Dubuque Farmers' Market and selling his produce from his straight truck in Dyersville.
He was a member of St. Joseph's Parish in Farley, Iowa.

He is survived by two nephews, Mike (Emily) Boge of Farley, IA and their children, Lukas and Erik; James (Jennifer) Boge of Farley, IA and their children, Lillian, Joseph, Jacob, Lucille, Jameson and Lois; a niece, Christine (Karamoko) Boge-Hubbard of Coralville, IA and their children, Delores and Grayson.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Joyce Ann Boge on June 2, 2010 and Elaine D. Boge on January 27, 2011; a brother Dale Boge on October 16, 2014; and Dale's wife, Nancy Boge May 28, 2009.
