Jolene Katherine Moore, 54, of Rickardsville, IA, passed away peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer. Jolene was born April 30th, 1962, in Dubuque, IA, the beloved daughter of Robert and Dorothy (Gansemer) Schrobilgen.

Friends and relatives of Jolene may call from 4 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at the Reiff Funeral Home in Dyersville, Iowa, where Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Deacon Jack Wolfe.
Jolene was raised in Rickardsville, IA, a place she called home for 50+ years. Jolene was the youngest in her family and she shared a special bond with each of her siblings and valued their relationships. Jolene also treasured the loving guidance she received from her Godmother, Thelma Roberts.

On September 14th, 1983, Jolene married her high school sweetheart, David Moore. Together they welcomed and raised 2 wonderful children, Jason and Jackie. In previous years, Jolene enjoyed working at Mount St. Francis, but most of her years were spent as a homemaker taking care of her family. Jolene took great pride in her family and she always put them first in life. Jolene thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her beautiful Grandchildren, Braelyn, Jonathan, Jamison, and Helena.

Jolene lived a life of love with many special family and friends left to cherish her memory. Jolene is survived by her loving husband, David Moore, and their children, Jason (Lisa) Moore and Jackie (Josh) McDermott, her grandchildren Braelyn and Helena Moore, Jonathan and Jamison McDermott, all of Dyersville, IA, her siblings Jimmy Schrobilgen of Dubuque, IA, Jeannie (Louie) Hogan of Bankston, IA, Janis Schrobilgen of Dubuque, IA, and Julie Bush (Terry George) of Asbury, IA, her mother-in-law, Joyce Moore of Park Hill, OK, brother and sister in laws, Jackie Moore of Park Hill, OK, Kenny (Debra) Moore of Sallisaw, OK, Scott (Terry) Moore of Charleston, SC, Jeff (Lisa) Moore of Muldrow, OK, and Joe Moore of Muldrow, OK. Jolene is also survived by many special aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews that she cherished dearly.

Jolene was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Dorothy Schrobilgen, a sister in infancy, JoAnn Schrobilgen, father-in-law, Jack Moore, maternal grandparents, George and Christina Gansemer, and paternal grandparents, Joseph and Margaret Schrobilgen.
