Joseph F. Chapman, 82, of Peosta, Iowa, died Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 10:26 a.m. at Dubuque Specialty Care Center in Dubuque, Iowa.
Friends and relatives of Joe may call after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at St. John's the Baptist Catholic Church in Peosta, Iowa, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Michael Schueller Officiating. Burial will be held in St. John's Cemetery in Centralia, Iowa.
Joe was born July 19, 1933 in Peosta, Iowa on the family farm, son of Edward and Catherine (Fischer) Chapman. He received his education in the rural Peosta area schools. He farmed his entire life on the family farm in rural Peosta.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; four siblings, Mary Margaret Chapman, John Chapman, Mary Ressler, and Dr. Gerald E. Chapman.
