Joyce was born on May 29, 1954, to Raphael and Anna Mae Bleile. She grew up in a large and loving family and carried the values of faith, hard work and devotion to family through-out her life.

On May 24, 1975, Joyce married the love of her life, Paul Kluesner, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dubuque, Iowa. Together they shared over five decades of marriage and were blessed with four children, Joyce devoted her life to her family and took great pride in being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Joyce worked for 37 years at Heritage Manor in Dubuque, where she was known for her dedication, compassion, and strong work ethic. She made many lasting friendships throughout her years of service.

In her free time, Joyce enjoyed reading, working on puzzles, and watching old westerns. Most of all, she treasured time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Family gatherings and special moments with those she loved brought her greatest joy.

Those left to cherish Joyce’s memory include her loving husband of 51 years, Paul Kluesner of Epworth, one daughter, Jennifer (Jamie) Johnson of Peosta; two sons, Brian (Julie) Kluesner and Christopher Kluesner both of Epworth; ten grandchildren, Justin Kluesner, Tristan (Katti Rummery) Jaeger, Tannen (Ali) Jaeger, Damon Jaeger, Devin Johnson, Evelyn (Kaleb Naber) Knepper, Blake Kluesner, Shayla Kluesner, Jace Kluesner, and McCoy Kluesner; and 4 great-grandchildren, Ty, Nolan, Otis, and Hope.

She is also survived by her nine siblings: Gary (Jayme) Bleile, Richard Bleile, James Bleile, Sarah (Tom) Blatz, Bonnie (Phil) Sellens, Jean (Bill) Link, Rose (Riki) Frank, Scott (Barb) Bleile, and Terry (Connie) Bleile; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Helen (Don) Nauman, Mary (Stan) Schueller, Kate McDermott, Linda (Paul) Burds, and Mike (Karen) Kluesner.

Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved son, Trace Kluesner in infancy; her parents, Raphael and Anna Mae Bleile; her parents-in-law, Clarence and Stella Kluesner; her brothers, David Bleile, Jeffrey Bleile and Laverne Bleile and her brothers and sisters-in-laws, Victoria Bleile, Doris [Jerry] Lahey and Neil McDermott.

Joyce will be remembered for her kind heart, quiet strength, unwavering devotion to her family, and the love she shared with everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Gina Moran, the doctors, nurses, and staff at Finley Hospital and St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids; Epworth EMS; and Hospice of Dubuque for the compassionate and exceptional care they provided Joyce during her final weeks.
