Kevin J. "Suey" Fox, 59, of Dubuque, Iowa, formerly of Dyersville, Iowa, passed away Monday, November 20, 2023, at Sunnycrest Manor in Dubuque, Iowa.

Visitation for Kevin will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, November 24, 2023, at the Reiff Funeral Home in Dyersville, Iowa.  Services for Kevin will be held at 10:30 a.m. on, Saturday, November 25, 2023, at the Reiff Funeral Home, with Rev. Mark Osterhaus officiating.   Full military honors will be afforded by the Dyersville American Legion Post #137.  Burial will be held at a later date.

Kevin was born July 2, 1964, in Iowa City, Iowa, son of John and Gladys (Schenk) Fox.  He was a 1982 graduate of Western Dubuque High School in Epworth, Iowa. He went on to become a Veteran, having served in the United States Army during the Gulf War earning a Bronze Star.  He was united in marriage to Julie Hansen on May 26, 1989, the couple later divorced.  From this union the apple of Kevin's eye was born Brian Daniel Fox.  Kevin was very proud of his son.

On April 15, 2000, Kevin was in a serious motorcycle accident, where he sustained a traumatic brain injury.  After two years of therapy and rehabilitation, he made his home at Sunnycrest Manor in Dubuque.  He will be greatly missed by many especially his Sunnycrest family.

Kevin is survived by his son, Brian and Katie Fox of East Lansing, MI; One sister, Jean and Marty Mausser of Cascade; two nephews, Joe and Miranda Mausser, and Jason Mausser both of Cascade; and his special family, Vicki and Marv Maiers of Dyersville, and Kristine Maiers – Petsche of Neenah, WI.

He was preceded in death by his parents; maternal grandparents, John and Alma Schenk; paternal grandparents, Albert and Katherine Fox.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Sunnycrest Manor for all their wonderful care they gave to Kevin over the years.
