Lane A. Pisarik, 10, of Cascade, Iowa, passed away, Saturday, August 8, 2026 from injuries sustained in a UTV accident.

Visitation for Lane will be from 2 to 8 p.m., on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at the Reiff Funeral Home in Cascade where a prayer service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Visitation will also be held on Friday, August 21, after 9 a.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Lane will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 21, 2026 at St. Matthias Catholic Church in Cascade, IA, with Rev. Steven Garner presiding.

Lane was born August 31, 2015, in Dubuque, Iowa. He is the son of Luke and Emily (Urbain) Pisarik. At just 10 years old, he brought an extraordinary amount of energy, kindness and joy to everyone around him. He was a hardworking and dedicated student at Cascade Elementary, preparing to enter the fifth grade. He took pride in doing his best. He was great in math, so creative and an overall wonderful student who gave it his all.

Outside of school, Lane enjoyed racing and riding motorcycles, the outdoors (mushroom hunting, kayaking/boating, hunting and fishing), sports, and collecting sports cards, rocks and shells. He loved to help Papa cut wood or whatever else he could help with. He was involved in many activities, including the Cascade Baseball, Basketball, and Swim Teams, as well as the Cascade Elementary Run Club. He loved being active & trying new things. He was always thinking up new ideas and ways to earn money or new and creative games to play. Above all, he had an incredibly giving heart. He would make or even use his own money to buy gifts for others, simply because he wanted to make someone happy. His generosity, enthusiasm, hard work and beautiful spirit touched the lives of so many, and the love he gave so freely will remain a treasured part of the hearts of all who knew him.

He is survived by his parents, Luke and Emily Pisarik; his two siblings, Grahm and Elizabeth all of Cascade, IA; his paternal grandparents, Larry and Kathy Pisarik of Cascade, IA; his maternal grandfather, Bernie Urbain of Farley, IA; aunts and uncles Laura (Nate) Oswald of Coralville, Bridgette (Mike) Bradley of Farley, Laura (Garret) Carlson of Fairfax, Megan (Brandon) Meier of Bellevue, Jared Urbain of Farley and his maternal great grandparents, Jim and Evelyn McGuire of Guttenberg, IA. Along with many cousins.

He is preceded in death by his cousin, Layna Meier; uncle, David Urbain; maternal grandmother, Mary Urbain; maternal great grandparents, Earl and Gertie Urbain; paternal great grandparents, Wallace and Dorothy Rilett and Raphael and Elizabeth Pisarik.
