Charl-Lista Neiers, 87, of Huntsville, AL and formerly of Cascade, Iowa, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026 at her daughter, Winifred's home in North Las Vegas, Nevada.

She was born January 24, 1938 in Monticello, Iowa, daughter of Charles and Esther (Kremer) Schemmel.  She received her education in the Cascade schools and then attended Clarke College in Dubuque, Iowa.

On October 7, 1961, she was united in marriage to James W. Neiers, at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Cascade, IA. He preceded her in death on March 26, 2009.

Graveside services for Charl-Lista will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 in Calvary Cemetery in Cascade, Iowa, with Rev. Michael Schueller presiding.  The Reiff Funeral Home in Cascade is assisting the family with arrangements.
