Michelle M. McBride, 57 of Des Moines, Iowa formerly of Iowa Falls and Luxemburg, Iowa passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 6:10 p.m. at the Kavanagh Hospice House in Des Moines.
Friends and relatives of Michelle may call from 3 to 6 p.m., Monday, March 13, 2017 at the Reiff Funeral Home in Farley, Iowa and also after 9 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Services for Michelle will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at the Reiff Funeral Home in Farley, Iowa with Rev. Michael Schueller Presiding. Burial will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Farley, Iowa.
Michelle was born January 5, 1960 in Anamosa, Iowa, daughter of Harry and Madonna (White) McBride. She is a graduate of Beckman High School in Dyersville, she attended Kirkwood Community College and Iowa State University where she received her degree in accounting. She was united in marriage to John Kluesner and on February 15, 2007 she was united in marriage to Allen Lambertz. She was employed as an accountant.
She is survived by her husband, Allen Lambertz of Des Moines, IA, one son, Luke Kluesner of Des Moines,, IA; a step son, Derrick Lambertz of Des Moines, IA, and a step-daughter, Erica (Justin) Sand of Earlham, IA; two grandchildren, Kaylee and Logan; her father, Harry V. McBride (and Nadine Brady) of Anamosa, IA; brothers and sisters, Michael J. (Julie) McBride of Delray Beach, FL, Margaret "Peggy" (John) Smith of Kingman, AZ, Patricia J. Link of Des Moines, IA, and Lynne (Steve) Dekowski of Austin, TX, Lynne who donated her kidney to Michelle.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Madonna McBride in 1972; and a sister, Laura Dykstra in 1998.
Memorials may be given in Michelle's name to Donate Life of America.
