Patricia "Patty" A. Redden, 68, of Manchester, Iowa, formerly of Delhi, Iowa, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at her home in Manchester.

A Celebration of Life in memory of Patty will be held from 2 to 5 p.m., on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Delhi Landing in Delhi, Iowa.  The Reiff Funeral Home in Dyersville, Iowa is assisting the family with arrangements.

Patty was born on December 8, 1954, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Daughter of Ray and Shirley (Green) Smajd Sr.  On September 12, 1987, she was united in marriage to James Stuart Redden in Vail, Colorado.

Those left to cherish Patty's memory are her husband, James Stuart Redden of Manchester; two sons, Chad Smith and Jason Smith both of California; one step daughter, Angela (Joe) Saunders of Cedar Falls, IA; siblings, Ray (Lorri) Smajd Jr. of Des Moines, IA, Mary (Stan) Gramke of Grand Blanc, MI, Kathy (Brent) Shonkwiler of Hilliard, OH, Sue (Mike) Bailey of Waukee, IA, Mike Smajd of Brighton, CO, and Shirley Smajd of Ankeny, IA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jane (Gary) Tangen of Cedar Falls, IA, and John (Linda) Redden of Lakewood, CO.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one step son, Nathan James Redden; and two sisters, Shelly Burke, and Debbie Campbell, father and mother-in-law, James and Jacqueline Redden.

In lieu of flowers a Patty Anne Redden memorial fund has been established.
