Regina L. "Gina" Reeve, 76 of Walker, Minnesota passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Vibra Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota.
The family will greet friends and relatives from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at the Reiff Funeral Home in Cascade, and after 9 a.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
Services for Gina will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, August 10, 2017 at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Cascade, Iowa, with Rev. Douglas Loecke Presiding and Homilist will be James Miller Presiding. Burial will be held at a later date.
Gina was born on June 23, 1941 in Earlville, Iowa, the daughter of Bernard and Bernadine (Wooldridge) Vaske. Gina went to elementary and high school in Edgewood, IA and later graduated from Dubuque Beauty Academy in Dubuque, Iowa, with a degree in cosmetology. Gina moved to Minnesota and retired from Ah-Gwah-Ching as an activities coordinator. Gina was a lifetime member of AFSCME Council 5, Local 761, Cass County DFL, and St. Angus Catholic Church. She had a love for gardening, sewing, crafts, and being in Minnesota. Gina's family meant the most to her and she loved spending all the time she could with her loved ones. Gina was looking forward to starting her life in Iowa with her family.
She is survived by four children, Suzanne (James) Felton of Cascade, IA, John Huff of Lake City, FL, Kelly (Mark) Grant of Dubuque, IA, and Amy (Scott) Hoseth of Walker, MN; four grandchildren, Chris (Kat) Felton of Cascade, IA, Kyle Grant of Dubuque, IA, Samantha (Adam) Noonan of Cascade, IA, and Samara Dodds of Walker, MN; one great grandchild, Kasen; five siblings, Richard (Ruth) Vaske of Lithia, FL, Carol Ann (Dennis) Willenborg of New Vienna, IA, Joyce (John) Monner of Maquoketa, IA, Anita (Dave) Juehring of Dyersville, IA and Pat (Ryan) Cline of East Dubuque, IL.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
