Rosalyn Kramer, 86, of Farley, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at her home, surrounded by family.

Visitation for Rosalyn will be held from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at the Reiff Funeral Home in Farley, Iowa, where a prayer service will be held at 2:30 p.m., a CDA Rosary will be held at 4:30 p.m., and a Farley American Legion Auxiliary Service will be held at 7:00 p.m.   Visitation will also be held after 9 a.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Rosalyn will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Farley, Iowa, with Rev. Michael Schueller officiating.   Burial will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Farley, Iowa.

Rosalyn was born December 26, 1937, in Dubuque, Iowa, daughter of Francis A. and Hester (Horsfield) McBride. She received her education at St. Joseph's School in Farley, Iowa. On January 25, 1958, she was united in marriage to Leon R. Kramer at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Farley, Iowa. He preceded her in death on September 29, 2010.

She was employed at Western Dubuque Schools as a paraprofessional.  She loved Farley Baseball and the Cubs.  She enjoyed keeping up with the grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish in Farley, Iowa, its Altar and Rosary Society, a member of the Farley Catholic Daughters of the America's-Presentation Court #1460 and a member of the Farley American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by her seven children, Julie (Kevin) Menge of Cascade, Jayne (Jeff) Esser of Colorado, Thomas (Beth) Kramer of Cedar Rapids, Stephen (Carie) Kramer of Altoona, Wayne Kramer and Daniel Kramer both of Farley, and James (Jill) Kramer of Ankeny; 10 grandchildren; Marty Menge, Brian (Chelsea) Menge, Jen (Josh) Valentine, Brad Esser, Ashley (Tyrel) Melvin, Brett (Rachel) Esser, Zoe Kramer, Joseph Kramer, Nathan Kramer, and Maisa Kramer; 7 great grandchildren; one sister, Pearl Scherrman of Farley; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lois Konzen of Cascade, Paul Kramer of Dubuque, Vera Steger of Dyersville, Walter "Hub" (Doris) Kramer of Worthington, and Gene (Dorothy) Kramer of Worthington.

She is also preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Zachary Kramer; three brothers, Rev. James, Harry and Leo McBride; and in-laws, Madonna, Mary, Nadine, Grace, Raymond, Earl, Alan, and Patricia; her mother and father-in-law, Walter and Celeste Kramer.
