Ryan P. Phillips, 43, of Peosta, Iowa passed away on June 6, 2025, due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Prairie Du Chein, Wisconsin.

Gathering of friends and family in honor of Ryan will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2025, at the Reiff Funeral home in Peosta, Iowa where a Memorial Service for Ryan will be held at 3:30 p.m. with Pastor Diane Grace presiding.  A Celebration of Life for Ryan will follow at Round 2 in Peosta, Iowa.

Ryan was born on August 25, 1981, in Dubuque, Iowa, son of Larry and Janice (Kramer) Phillips. He was a 1999 graduate of the Western Dubuque High School in Epworth, Iowa.  Ryan worked for Mi-T-M in Peosta, Iowa for 23 years.

Ryan was a quiet man who loved to be welding and tinkering on things that needed to be fixed in the garage.  He enjoyed food, beer, music and riding his four wheelers and Motorcycle's.

Those left to cherish Ryan's memory are his Parents, Larry and Jan Phillips of Peosta; siblings, Randy Phillips of Greeley; his girlfriend, Michelle Cottrell of Durand, IL; aunt and uncles, Agnes (Steve) Steffen of Peosta, Annette Arnold of Key West, Janet Phillips of Dubuque, IA, Loras Phillips of Dyersville, IA and Diann (Dan) Michels of Cedar Rapids, IA; cousin, Paula Schulte and several other cousins; and his faithful companion, Lucky.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bernard and Bernice (Koopmann) Kramer; Paternal grandparents, Art and Dorothy (Heisler) Phillips; Uncles, Marty Kramer, and Brian Arnold; Aunts, Melanie Phillips, and Mary (Robert) Schulte; and cousins, Sandy Schulte and Michael Steffen.
