Sharon M. Aldrich, 54, of Wentzville, MO, formerly of Lake Orion, Michigan and Cascade, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at DePaul Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Friends and relatives of Sharon may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Reiff Funeral Home in Cascade, Iowa, where a wake service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friends may also call after 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 11th at the funeral Home.
Services for Sharon will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 11, 2017 at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Cascade, Iowa with Rev. Douglas Loecke officiating. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Cascade.
She was born November 15, 1962 in Monticello, Iowa, daughter of Francis P. "Bud" and Jacqueline L. (McGovern) Trumm. She received her education from Aquin Elementary and is a 1981 graduate of Cascade High School. She is also a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, with a Major in Communications/Public relations. She was employed at Busey Bank in St. Louis, MO.
On November 25, 1988 at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Cascade she was united in marriage to Mark Aldrich.
She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. She always enjoyed attending her son's activities, including baseball and ice hockey. She loved being a wife and mother, and enjoyed life to the fullest. When she was your friend—she was your friend for life. She will truly be missed by many family members and friends.
She was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in New Melle, MO.
She is survived by her husband, Mark Aldrich of Wentzville, MO; three sons, Tyler Francis Aldrich of Sterling Heights, MI, Austin Mark Aldrich of Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, NV, and Logan James Aldrich of Columbus, OH; Her mother, Jacqueline L. Trumm of Cascade, IA; two brothers, Terry (Linda) Trumm of Oakland, MI and Jim (Patti) Trumm of Cascade, IA; three sisters, Jane Roggensack of Mason City, IA, Ann (Tony) Voss of Hudson, IA and Mariellen (Chuck) Youngdahl of Marion, IA; mother-in-law, Wilma Aldrich of Des Moines, IA; sisters-in-law, Beth (Bruce) Rydberg of Des Moines, IA, Janice (Wayne) Booth of Saratoga, CA, Jeanette (Jeff) Morris of Radcliffe, IA.
She is preceded in death by her father, Francis P. "Bud" Trumm on April 18, 1990; her father-in-law, Larry Aldrich on December 14, 2010; and sister-in-law, Kelly Trumm on April 17, 1983.
A Sharon M. Aldrich memorial fund has been established in lieu of flowers.
