Terry J. Savolt. 62. Of Farley, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2026. at MercyOne Medical Center in Dyersville, Iowa.

Visitation for Terry will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at the Reiff Funeral Home in Farley, Iowa, where services will be held at 6 p.m. followed by the Flag Presentation by the Farley American Legion Post #656. A private burial will be held in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Farley, Iowa at a later date.

He was born June 11, 1964, in Aurora, Colorado, son of John and Mary Ann [Pettinger] Savolt. He received his education in the Dyersville schools, and is a graduate of Beckman High School in Dyersville. On January 8, 2000 he was united in marriage to Mary Kay Tucker at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Worthington, IA.

He was employed at Modernfold in Dyersville. He was a member of the Carpenter’s union. He was an Army Veteran, he served for 5 years, serving in Germany and at Ft. San Houston in Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Kay Savolt of Farley, IA; his children Skylar Savolt of Iowa City, IA, Brittany [Brody] Schneider of Millville, IA and Jonathan Savolt [Colleen Wente] of Farley, IA; three grandchildren, Willa and Dixie Schneider and Ashton Savolt; three siblings, Mike [Julie] Savolt of Waupaca, WI, Danny [Cindy] Savolt of Iowa City, IA and Kathy Brown of Mississippi; his mother-in-law, Coletta Tucker of Dyersville, IA; his sisters and brothers-in-laws, Colleen [Rick] Wolfe, Darrell [Rose] Tucker both of Worthington, IA, Merlin [Jody] Tucker of Durango, IA, Duane [Karen] Tucker of Denton, TX, Darla Tucker of Farley, IA, and Brad Tucker [& friend, Mandy] of Delhi, IA.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Kyle J. Savolt; his father-in-law, Allan Tucker; and a sister-in-law, Joyce Tucker.
