Vernon G. Krogman, 79, of Dyersville, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Ennoble Manor in Dubuque, Iowa, surrounded by his family.

Friends and relatives of Vernon may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the Reiff Funeral Home in Dyersville, Iowa. Friends may also call after 9 a.m., Wednesday at the Reiff Funeral Home.
Services for Vernon will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at the Reiff Funeral Home in Dyersville, Iowa with Rev. Dennis Conway Presiding. Burial will be held in St. Francis Cemetery in Dyersville, Iowa.

Vernon was born February 5, 1938 in Dyersville, Iowa, son of Joseph and Magdalen (Jaeger) Krogman. On October 19, 1963 he was united in marriage to Raynette Stuart in Dubuque, Iowa. She preceded him in death on July 27, 1994. He was employed at the former Dubuque Packing Company in Dubuque, until his retirement in 1982.

He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Parish in Dyersville.
He is survived by three children, Scott (Sandy) Krogman and Jeff (Michelle) Krogman both of Dyersville, IA and Kevin (Kari) Krogman of Farley, IA; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; five siblings, Rose Greenwood of Farley, IA, Verla Turnis and James Krogman both of Worthington, IA, Richard (Debbie) Krogman of Dubuque, IA and Gary (Linda) Krogman of Dyersville, IA; two brothers-in-law, Dennis Foxen of Dyersville, IA and Harold Tibbetts of Mesquite, NV; brothers and sisters-in-law, Raymond Stuart Jr. of Dubuque, IA, Gary (Nancy) Stuart of Marion, IA and Cindy Stuart and Gretchen (Dan) Knief both of Dubuque, IA.

He is also preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Elwood (Eunice) Krogman, Thomas and David; his sisters, Helen (Gib) Bahl, Mary Lou (George) Sorenson, Bonnie Krogman, Kathy Foxen and Carol Tibbetts; a sisters-in-law, Bev Krogman and a brother-in-law, Raymond (Rayse) Stuart.
