William C. "Will" Einwalter, 42, of Farley, Iowa passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, October 3, 2025, at home.

Will was born on April 20, 1983, in Dubuque, Iowa, son of William and Mary Jo (Beaves) Einwalter.  He was a 2002 graduate of Western Dubuque High School in Epworth, Iowa.  He worked in retail at Casey's General Store in Farley, Iowa.

Will loved all he met, and shared a smile and sympathetic ear with anyone who needed it.  He has left a bat-shaped hole in everyone's heart.

Those left to cherish Will's memory are his parents, William and Mary Jo Einwalter of Farley; three siblings, Lisa (Billy) Kramer of Dubuque, Nicholas Einwalter of Farley, and Jessica (Jake) Merritt of Manson; nieces and nephew, Ava and Stella Kramer, Margot Rogers, and Vincent Merritt; and his many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family would like to thank Drs. Engleman, Marks, and Sullivan as well as Hospice of Dubuque for their excellent, compassionate care.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ted and Eileen Beaves, Carl and Margaret Einwalter; his uncles Red Callahan and Gary Einwalter.

Will, in his last act of kindness, donated his body to the University of Iowa Medical School.  His desire was to help others in their battle with cancer.
