William "Bill" D. Kringle, 94, of Cascade, Iowa passed away, Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 8:10 a.m. at Ennoble Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dubuque, Iowa.

Friends and relatives of Bill may call from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at the Reiff Funeral Home in Cascade, Iowa where a wake service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Friends may also call after 9 a.m. Thursday, August 31, 2017 at the funeral home.

Services for Bill will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, August 31, 2017 at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Cascade, Iowa with Rev. Douglas Loecke Presiding. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Cascade, Iowa.

He was born May 17, 1923 in Dubuque, Iowa, son of William L. and Augusta M. (Schneider) Kringle. He received his education from West St. Joseph's Prairie in Zwingle, Iowa. On September 6, 1970 he was united in marriage to Shirley Beringer in Las Vegas, Nevada. He owned and operated Kringle Well Drilling and farmed in Cascade for many years.

He is a member of the St. Matthias Parish in Cascade, Iowa.

He is survived by his wife Shirley Kringle of Cascade, IA; one sister-in-law, Marlene Heiderscheit of Dubuque, IA and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, John (Elsie) Kringle, two brothers-in-law, Ralph Beringer and George Heiderscheit.

The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice of Dubuque and Ennoble Skilled Nursing and Rehab for the wonderful care and support they gave Bill.
