Wilma Hogan, 91, of Worthington, IA passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Luther Manor Communities, Grand Meadows, Asbury, Iowa.

Friends and relatives of Wilma may call from 3 to 8 p.m., on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at the Reiff Funeral Home in Farley, Iowa. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, January 31 after 9:00 a.m., then services will follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Worthington, Iowa, with Rev. Chris Podhajsky presiding. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Farley, Iowa.

Wilma was born February 14, 1932, in Worthington, Iowa, daughter of Anton and Francis (Honkomp) Lehmann.  She received her education in the St. Joseph's School in Farley, Iowa.   On August 23, 1950, she was united in marriage to Bill Hogan at St. Paul's Church in Worthington.    The couple operated a Century Farm in the Worthington area.  Bill preceded her in death on April 21, 2010.

She was a 4-H leader for the Worthington Handy Helpers, a member of St. Paul's in Worthington, and a volunteer at the Dubuque voting centers.  She loved quilting and made quilts for all her grandkids and church functions.

Surviving are her five children, Leo (Sandra), Bev (Ron) Goerdt, Karen (Al) Schmidt, Sherry Bonelli (Russ Farnum), Dan (Shelly) Hogan, twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, one sister, Florence Jaeger, sisters in law Margaret Lehmann and JoAnne Lehmann.

Wilma was preceded in death by her husband Bill in 2010, her parents Anton and Francis, brothers Clarence, Elmer, William; sisters Sr. Mary Lois, Ruth McMahon, her father and mother-in law Dan and Mayme Hogan, her sisters in law Verla Lehmann, Marina Lehmann, Anna Mae Lehmann and brothers in law Merlin Jaeger and Joseph McMahon.
